Group tours of Mitchell Farms are available year round with reservations. We can customize your tour according to your group’s interests, age, and abilities, and the time you have available for your visit.
We also welcome church groups, clubs, birthday parties, nighttime firepits, Scouts and Other Clubs, weddings, receptions, reunions, retreats, company picnics
We have a Banquet Barn built especially for weddings and special events. Please call ahead for reservations. Group discounts are available.
Mitchell Farms remains a working farm, spread over approximately 1,500 acres. Guests enjoy a variety of interests, from our 100 year old log cabin, to simply learning how peanuts are grown and harvested.

Historic Millstone
“22 January 1796, William Mitchell willed to his son, Cader, his heirs, and assigns forever one pair of heavy-duty millstones.
William’s great-grandson, Cader Daniel Mitchell, built a water mill in 1845 on Station Creek using these millstones.
William’s great, great, great, great great-grandson Dennis Mitchell now owns this stone. 30 July 1996.
